  • November 24, 2023 – February 4, 2024 – Women and Water Exhibit – Mary Burns at Wisconsin Academy of Science, Arts & Letters James Watrous Gallery at the Overture Center.
  • Sunday, December 3, 10:30-11:30am – “Mary Burns: Women and Water” Behind-the-Scenes Tour, James Watrous Gallery, 201 State St., Madison, WI 53703. Join Mary Burns at the James Watrous Gallery for a private, behind-the-scenes tour with the Madison Weavers Guild of her exhibition “Women and Water”. An award-winning fiber artist and master weaver, Burns’ jacquard portraits feature women who work with, advocate for, and protect water across the globe. Featured are scientists, water-walkers, teachers, farmers and healer, all of whom hold deep connections with water.
